Our Story
The MN American Legion foundation was founded in 1990 by the Department of Minnesota American Legion to serve as a central organization for donations.
As a designated 501(c)(3) the Foundation is eligible to receive donations from Posts, corporate donors, individuals, and lawful gambling without the need for prior gambling board approval. All donations are also tax deductible.
The Foundation proudly manages over 20 dedicated funds that support a wide range of programs from emergency and financial assistance, to scholarships and youth activities. Read on to learn about our charitable funds.
