Fund 56 - Boy Scout Scholarship
This fund was started many years ago. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to the Minnesota Eagle Scout of the Year.
Fund 66 - Nurses Scholarship
The Nurses Scholarship Fund was established many years ago in The American Legion Department of Minnesota. The purpose is to provide scholarships to nurses. Scholarship recipients are chosen by members of the Americanism Committee and the Department Service Officer of The American Legion Department of Minnesota.
Fund 75 - Oratorical Contest Scholarship
This dedicated fund holds the Oratorical Scholarship funds until they are requested by the winners. Each year after the Oratorical Contest the awards for the four winners are placed in this account. Awarded funds remain in this account until winners provide The American Legion with proof they have been accepted into a college or university.
Fund 76 - American Legion Memorial Fund
Funding is from memorials of former American Legion members. The funds provide scholarships which are awarded by the Americanism Committee.
Fund 77 - Minnesota Boys State Program
This was the first fund moved to the Minnesota American Legion Foundation. The Boys State Program became an LLC and was purchased by the Foundation for $1. This dedicated fund receives all income generated by Boys State and pays all expenditures incurred by Boys State.
